Wow, now here's a review I don't receive every day! http://www.cherrymenlove.com/blog/2010/11/a-whole-new-world.html Whenever anything remotely complimentary is written about either my books or Clothes Plasters, it quite literally makes my week, but this will keep me smiling for at least a year!
Such a compliment coming from such an extraordinarily stylish, glamorous and creative person. Let's hope I get to repay her one day...
Yay! Here they are, our perfect stocking fillers/going home presents/pop-inside-birthday-card presents... you name it, you know you want some! Tee Hee. Will have stock tomorrow (Oct 27). Let me know your favourites and I'll squirrel some away! xxxxx
Singles are coming!! Here's our POS hanger thingie (technical name??) Is terrible photo I know, but too impatient to wait for professional one...will upload some images of the chosen patches soon (our tried and tested favourites!). They will be available from mid October and will be £2.99 each. How exciting?!
We were lucky enough to be next to these guys at Top Drawer. SUCH fabulously lovely people. Lots of exciting ideas/collaborations were discussed... their children's (and hurrah- ladies!) clothes made me come over all peculiar, such was their divine perfection, rare to see something quite so 'right'.
Previewing at Top Drawer and sadly not available until the end of October... Have been ironing on birds to a skirt for the show. SO pretty, will take lots of photos... xxx
Thanks to the lovley Junior Magazine for this great review!
I am in strange intense work zone. Working 7 day weeks and 13 hour days in order to get this book fiinished! (still top secret sorry) Big party when it's over! Will upload some images as soon as I get the go ahead, it's in a completely different style to anything I've done before. Watch this space xxxx
It's a very touching and inspiring Blog. Talking about family life and running a photography workshop at the same time. She offers words of inspiration and people submit images and text relating to that weeks word. At times deeply hilarious and equally immensely moving. Definitely worth a look/read...
Figured if we're good enough for Grazia..? Also read that it's a fab way for people to hear about you from all corners of the globe, which sounds quite exciting to a cardi clad illustrator from rural Hampshire...
UPDATE: Last number of visits 8042! How terrifying!!
'Mummy Limited' Blog has a Finger Food Friday, featuring recipes from my cookery book. Really nicely photographed and carefully explained. Well done her... puts me to shame! http://mummylimited.blogspot.com/2010/06/finger-food-friday-mini-quiches.html
I forget how much this book is still being bought/used. It was written for my Millie, who is now nearly ten! I still refer to it and have yet to find a better Brownie recipe (thanks Aunty Sister!!)
Big Thank you to Daisy Bridgewater for lovely write-up in The Telegraph Magazine's Children's Notebook, we got millions of orders (well almost...) and it was extra lovely to see our Rosie in the paper!
Watch out for us in Grazia week after next! Enjoy the sunshine! xx Jennie
